those of central United States. Prerequisites: junior standing or instructor's
consent.
Introduction
to Biological Systems
Basic concepts and principles of the structure and function of living
systems, from cells to populations. Foundation course for science students
intending to complete a 3-semester sequence that also includes genetics
and cell biology. Prerequisites: Math 10 and high school chemistry.

Reproductive Biology
Adult reproductive anatomy, physiology and behavior; gametogenesis and
fertilization; placentation; sexual differentiation; parturition; maternal
behavior and lactation; puberty; reproductive aging; reproductive ecology.
Prerequisites: junior standing and 15 hours of Biology. 3 hours.
